Job Pathways Program Lead
About the role
The Job Pathways Program Lead will work with our network of employers to curate and execute a calendar of virtual and in-person events that connect mid-career women+ with sector leaders, hiring managers and industry mentors to help them build their professional networks, discover opportunities in new sectors, and secure their next role. As a new pilot program, this role will include lots of testing, documentation and iteration to find what engagements work best for both employers and TGC community members.
Responsibilities
Employer Partnership Development (~40%):
- Working with the Programs Manager, co-create the Job Pathways structure and strategy for employer engagement.
- Act as the main point of contact for new and existing employer partnerships, following up with warm leads with employers that are a good fit for networking and sharing opportunities with our community.
- Work with employer contacts to identify and create opportunities for women+ in our community to learn about new sectors or roles.
- Use HubSpot CRM to maintain and grow a database of employer contacts by region and sector that can be leveraged for Job Pathways events.
Job Pathways Events & Activities (~40%):
- Create and curate opportunities for networking events, coffee chats, and informational interviews with employers.
- Pilot and test different types of engagements for accessibility and effectiveness, document what works and iterate based on feedback.
- Working collaboratively with the Programs team, execute both virtual (80%) and in-person (20%) Job Pathways events that connect mid-career women+ with employers.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing to identify appropriate messaging, positioning, and audience segments for Job Pathways events, recruiting from both within TGC’s existing community and external audiences, where appropriate.
- Lead data tracking and budgets related to Job Pathways events - tracking attendance, engagement, feedback, and spend for speaker honorariums or in-person event costs.
Programs Support (~20%):
- Liaise with Career Support Specialist and Programs team members to share what TGC participants are experiencing on the ground in their job search and share back what you are hearing from employers to help shape upcoming Programs calendar.
- Support with reporting to funders, leadership and board, as it related to Job Pathways events and activities.
- Collaborate with building case of support for continued funding of Job Pathways program through collecting impact stories, quotes and metrics.
- Work collaboratively with the TGC Programs team to support the execution of virtual events and workshops such as Catalyst or Slack, as needed.
- Attend TGC team meetings, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience working in either: recruitment, talent acquisition, career development or HR
- 2+ years experience in a partnerships-focused role - building and formalizing partnerships
- 2+ years experience in project or program management, owning the execution of a project from end to end
- Direct experience with building new programs that support people in reaching their own self-determined employment goals in a community, nonprofit or workplace setting is considered a strong asset
- Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot), including exposure to workflows, automation, and campaign tracking is considered a strong asset.
- Experience coordinating tasks with project management tools such as Asana
- Proficiency with google workspace and online tools such as calendly, typeform, zoom, slack, canva
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Demonstrated experience with the principles of anti-racism, anti-oppression, equity and justice in workplace settings.
- Proficiency working in fully remote environments.
