Job Summary

Patient Care Representatives are responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients, visitors, and staff. They greet and direct patients, assist with check-ins, and handle various administrative tasks.

Essential Job Functions

  • Greet and direct all patients, visitors, and staff upon entry of the practice.
  • Maintain the reception areas and provide assistance as needed.
  • Verify and assist patients with necessary information and questionnaires.
  • Print daily schedules and disseminate information using appropriate systems.
  • Cross-check and update patient charts as needed.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe workspace for patients and staff.
  • Confirm appointments and collect payments as required.
  • Complete administrative tasks as directed.

Competencies

  • Demonstrated knowledge of materials, methods, instruments, and equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and multi-task effectively.
  • Positive response to patient requests and ability to work under pressure.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and respond positively to patient requests.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position located in Naples, Florida. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Travel to other locations may be necessary.
