Job Fair Details

• Date: Saturday, August 29, 2026
• Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Location: Weyerhaeuser Grifton Lumber Mill, Grifton, NC
• Bring a current resume

Candidates must complete the APT assessment before the event. After applying, watch your email for assessment instructions and complete it prior to August 29 to ensure consideration. Those who meet qualifications and pass the assessment will be invited to attend.

Schedule

Production employees work a rotating schedule, alternating between one week of day shifts and one week of night shifts.

• Sawmill Hours:
  • Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 5:30 PM – 4:30 AM
• Planer Mill Hours:
  • Day Shift: 4:50 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 4:50 PM – 4:00 AM

Pay

Starting at $18.57 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Commit to working safely and following all safety guidelines
• Operate equipment efficiently and maintain a clean work area
• Load and unload products for processing
• Follow work instructions and complete tasks accurately
• Learn new skills and adapt to different roles as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to improve safety and performance

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of steady, documented work experience
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to wear required PPE and work in extreme temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, navigate catwalks, bend, and stoop
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
