Job Fair (Direct Support Professional)

ETTA staff supports, guides, mentors, and inspires our clients to achieve their goals and live more independently.

Responsibilities

• Assisting adults of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Providing care and support in various settings including independent living, supported living, and community-based programs
• Engaging in activities that promote socialization, self-care, and life skills development
• Mentoring and guiding clients towards achieving their personal and professional goals
• Participating in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
• Driving clients to appointments and activities as needed, with mileage reimbursement

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license (minimum of 3 years)
• Must have an insured vehicle
• Experience in a paid position, volunteer job, or personal experience preferred

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding client information
