Job Description – Automotive Technician
- Responsibilities: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults
Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune ups
Advises service advisors on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records
Perform vehicle assessments and alert clients on issues that will prohibit their vehicles from passing inspection. - Requirements: Graduated from a Canadian Automotive Apprentice program. (ex. Automotive Technician Apprentice Level 1, 2, 3 or 4) or holds a Red Seal certificate in Automotive
Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment
May lift objects that weigh as much as 60 lbs
Ability to use diagnostic equipment
Good hand-eye coordination
In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Commercial Vehicle Inspector Certificate an asset
Valid/Clean Drivers License
Own basic tools/Tool chest - Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections
Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time.
Job Description – Shop Assistant
- Responsibilities: Receiving and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly
Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines
Performing end-of-day cleaning duties, which includes wiping down windows, mirrors, and fixtures as well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor
Clean, vacuum & wash vehicles
Pick up/deliver parts
Assist mechanics with multiple tasks throughout the day
Help mechanics perform minor maintenance and repairs such as oil changes, tires/brakes, spark plugs and other similar tasks
Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order. - Requirements: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
Effective communication skills
Detail-oriented
Valid Drivers License
Ability to life 50lbs
Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion

- Responsibilities: Create a welcoming environment by greeting guests, answering phone calls on a multi-line system, directing visitors, and taking messages for employees
Handling basic office tasks, such as filing, delivering mail, answering emails, prepare outgoing mail, and data entry
Appointment bookings, reminder, and follow-up calls
Opening and closing duties & general office housekeeping
Handling day to day office procedures and systems
Processing customer payments, cash handling
Arrange office lunches and assist with event planning - Requirements: Excellent spoken English, grammar and editing skills
Reliable and punctual
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and Adobe
