About the role
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Independent Sales Representative to join our team and represent our premium line of automotive equipment. This is a 1099 commission-only role ideal for entrepreneurial individuals who thrive on performance and want to control their income.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in your local area
- Present and demonstrate automotive tools, lifts, diagnostics, and shop equipment
- Customize solutions based on customer needs
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Negotiate pricing and close deals
- Submit purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
- Resolve customer concerns professionally
- Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED (technical/sales training a plus)
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proven B2B or B2G sales experience (automotive industry preferred)
- A willingness to travel locally to meet clients
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- A self-motivated and organized approach
- Familiarity with automotive equipment is a strong advantage
