“JOB: Community Engagement Officer, Habitats & Heritage”

About the role

Help local people take an active role in protecting and improving parks and green spaces in this part-time role. This is a rewarding role with Habitats and Heritage for someone who loves working with people and nature and wants to make a positive difference for communities, nature and local green spaces.

Responsibilities

• Support existing community and ‘Friends of’ groups to develop their skills, confidence and capacity
• Help new groups and initiatives get established
• Bring people together
• Manage community projects and volunteers
• Create opportunities for groups to connect, learn and share ideas

Pay

£28,945 per annum pro rata (£17,367 actual)

Schedule

21 hours a week
