Description

Home of Hope is seeking caring, dependable individuals to support adults with disabilities in living more independent and meaningful lives. No prior experience is necessary as training is provided.

Pay & Position

  • Starting at $11.00+ per hour, based on experience
  • Full-Time & Part-Time and Floater opportunities
  • Paid training
  • Multiple shifts may be available

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Dependable transportation and valid drivers license
  • Ability to meet required physical requirements
  • Ability to complete required training

Pre-employment Requirements

  • Successful completion of required background screening and drug testing

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Experience: 6 months in service oriented environment ideally in a job development capacity
  • Skills: above average interpersonal, verbal and written communications; basic math; proficiency in using office equipment that includes copier, fax, calculator, and telephone system
  • Ability: to organize tasks, record and produce accurate work; to exercise sound judgment; periodic travel to various intrastate sites (which may involve overnight stay)
  • Valid driver’s license; current automotive insurance; dependable transportation; availability to operate vehicle during day/night
  • First Aid/CPR Training (Required): including all aspects of completion with compressions on the floor or ground
  • Required pre-employment drug screen and subject to random, post-accident and reasonable cause drug screens
  • Willing to work schedules based on individual client needs and overtime as required
  • Expected to learn and follow the Individual Plan (IP) of clients
  • Criminal Background free of encumbrances identified by the State of Oklahoma Health Department
  • Valid driver’s license; current automotive insurance; dependable transportation
  • Physical/Mental: Office or industrial environment; lifting minimum of 50 pounds; Comprehension and deductive reasoning; Responsive to visual stimuli; Reliable motor skills-use of hands and feet; motor coordination; Ability to sit, stoop, or stand for prolonged periods of time; Ability to understand oral and written instructions
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills
  • Mentally and physically capable to perform the duties of the position
