Responsibilities

• Takes vital signs and prepares patient medical records for providers.
• Performs phlebotomy and other urgent care duties.
• Accurately collects and tests specimens according to laboratory policy.
• Maintains chain of custody for forensic collections.
• Performs surveillance exams and breath alcohol testing.
• Ensures accurate documentation and maintains a clean environment.
• Supports the front desk staff and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Paramedic or EMT license required in Florida.
• Two years college preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a health care setting.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification for Health Care Providers.
• Office setting experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Skills

Requires proficiency in Phlebotomy, computer data entry, and workflow monitoring. Must be able to function under stress and in a fast-paced environment.
