Key Responsibilities
- Cooks, bakes, or serves regular and/or special meals to clients and/or staff.
- Ensures that food is maintained at appropriate temperatures.
- Prepares salads and garnishes and assists in basic food preparation or ordering.
- Distributes food using appropriate food handling and sanitation techniques.
- P Practices of food safety and public health protection
- Maintains inventory
- Tracks receipts
- Cleans, sterilizes and or disinfects areas and/or equipment.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is often preferred.
- Previous experience in food service role is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for converting recipes.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Motivated individual.
