Jewelry CAD Designer

About the role

We are seeking a CAD Designer to create 3D CAD designs from drawings or sketches for custom jewelry manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to grow into a leadership position in a fast-paced environment with daily requests. Your primary responsibility will be to bring the customer’s vision to life and ensure their satisfaction with their custom piece.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD designs from drawings or sketches for custom jewelry pieces
• Design custom bridal jewelry, engagement rings, bands, and pendants
• Create curve bands to fit customer engagement rings from scratch
• Collaborate with a diverse team in an in-person setting at our DDNY location

Requirements

• Previous jewelry industry experience
• Two or more years of experience designing jewelry
• Two or more years of experience with custom jobs, specifically bridal jewelry, engagement rings, bands, and pendants
• Experience with Rhino, Matrix (Gold), and/or 3Design preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in CAD Jewelry Design
• Knowledge of manufacturing standards

Pay

Base pay range: $29.00–$38.50 per hour. Final pay rate is based on experience and qualifications.
