About the role

R2Net is seeking creative and talented jewelers to join our team in New York City. You will use your skills to design stunning, one-of-a-kind custom jewelry or restore existing pieces to their original beauty.

Responsibilities

• Jewelry Cleaning
• Prepare raw casted metal for pre-polishing
• Achieve smooth surfaces
• Ensure ring is perfectly round and consistent in thickness
• Identify and address areas needing repair
• Soldering and Laser Work
• Solder gold and platinum heads to rings
• Ensure diamonds are not damaged during the process
• Size rings without leaving seams
• Repair pin holes using laser metal, clean, and smooth the area
• Remove porosity and cracks without damaging the ring
• Mend cracks appropriately

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• Technical training in metal programs or jewelry programs preferred
• Jewelry repair experience
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Consistent regular scheduled attendance

$25.00 - $30.00 hourly
