Jemma Arakelyan: My PhD Journey Has Reached Its Conclusion

Whatever has a beginning must also have an end… My PhD journey has reached its conclusion!

These four years weren’t just about the long hours in the lab/library, the mountains of data, or the coffee-fueled writing marathons (though there were plenty of those!) They were a profound exploration of #anticancerdrugdiscovery, a continuous test of my limits, a lesson in nurturing resilience, and a path that connected me with incredible people.

• my supportive lab mates and fellow researchers;
• and my family and friends who kept me grounded (and fed!).

This doctorate isn’t just my achievement; it’s a mosaic crafted by many hands.

I’m excited to take these hard-earned skills, and move on to the next chapter: applying this knowledge to solve real-world problems.
