JeffTemps - EVS Associate (Fulltime, Evenings)

About the role

EVS Associates are needed to support the Environmental Services team at Einstein Philadelphia. This position is available at 5501 Old York Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19141, working evenings from 4pm-12:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistently with Jefferson’s values.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in assigned work areas by following departmental policies and procedures.
• Disposes of biohazards according to EPA and OSHA codes and regulations.
• Maintains equipment, clean carts, buckets, floor machines, other equipment, and supply closets to ensure a professional appearance.
• Complies with personal protective equipment requirements and follows hand hygiene policies.
• Completes and maintains carpet and hard surface flooring in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Observes safety precautions when pushing equipment and reports faulty machinery.
• Utilizes wet floor signs to prevent accidents and performs other duties as assigned.
• Aids in moving furniture, equipment, supplies, recycling, and set-ups as requested.
• Responds to pages or phone calls promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in housekeeping or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Basic computer skills.

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

This position works evenings from 4pm-12:30pm.
