JDE Technical Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 Technical Lead with deep expertise in Orchestrator Studio, AIS Server, and integrations. The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting orchestration‑driven solutions, APIs, and real‑time integrations while also handling core JDE development and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 Orchestrations.
• Build and manage AIS services, REST APIs, and real‑time integrations with external systems.
• Develop and enhance custom orchestration components (service requests, rules, connectors, notifications).
• Create and maintain Interactive Applications, UBEs, and Business Functions (C) for orchestration support.
• Develop and modify BI Publisher and RDA reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve orchestration, AIS, and integration‑related issues across environments.
• Optimize orchestration performance, error handling, and security.
• Collaborate with functional teams to convert business processes into event‑driven and API‑based solutions.
• Support retrofit activities, package builds, deployments, and tools releases.
• Ensure compliance with JDE 9.2 development standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and review orchestration and development artifacts.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development experience, with strong exposure to version 9.2.
• Hands‑on expertise in Orchestrator Studio, AIS Server configuration and troubleshooting, and REST API development/integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Business Functions (C), Interactive Applications, UBEs, Tables, Data Dictionary, FDA, and RDA.
• Experience with real‑time and batch integrations.
• Solid understanding of JDE security, roles, UDOs, and orchestration security.
• Strong SQL / Oracle DB knowledge.
• Excellent communication and requirement‑analysis skills.
• Ability to independently drive integration and orchestration solutions.
• Strong documentation and knowledge‑sharing mindset.
• Analytical and problem‑solving orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing event‑driven architecture using JDE Orchestrations.
• Exposure to IoT Orchestrator or notifications (email, SMS, external systems).
• Experience with JDE Tools Release upgrades and ESU application knowledge.
• Familiarity with functional domains such as Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, or SCM.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
