JD Hostel Warden (Female) Position – NTR High School, Challapalli.

Job Summary

To oversee the day-to-day management of the girls’ hostel, ensuring safety, discipline, hygiene, and the overall well-being of students residing in the hostel. The Hostel Warden acts as a guardian, guide and mentor to the students, while maintaining effective communication with parents and school authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, security and discipline of all girl students in the hostel.
• Supervise daily routines including wake-up, meals, study hours and bedtime.
• Handle student grievances with empathy and provide necessary counselling.
• Maintain proper records of hostel attendance, leave and student health issues.
• Oversee hostel facilities such as rooms, furniture, bathrooms and cleanliness.
• Ensure timely availability of food, water and other essential supplies.
• Monitor students’ health and coordinate with medical staff for emergencies.
• Educate and guide students on hygiene, discipline and good practices.
• Maintain first-aid supplies and handle minor health issues.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively between the school management, parents and students.
• Inform parents and authorities about important matters such as illness, discipline or special needs.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (Social Work or related preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a warden/caretaker in a school hostel (preferred).
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Telugu, Hindi and English). Good leadership and organizational abilities. Caring, patient and disciplined nature. Ability to manage adolescent students effectively.

• Should be residing in the hostel premises (accommodation will be provided).
• Must be responsible, approachable and dedicated to student welfare.
