Job Responsibilities
- Vending Machines:
- Contact Pepsi and Coke when maintenance is required.
- Order products to fill pop machines from Pepsi & Coke.
- Collect money from pop machines weekly.
- Fundraiser Management:
- Keep track of all fundraiser orders and money for each sport on a spreadsheet.
- Double check all coach's orders and figures.
- Record and deposit all money from fundraisers in the appropriate fund.
- Maintain each sport's fund and make sure all monies are recorded correctly.
- Pay bills to Fundraising Company from appropriate fund.
- Concession Stand:
- Order and maintain food and drinks for the concession stand.
- Make sure the concession stand is set-up for all sporting events.
- Athletic Events and Athletes:
- Maintain season records for all athletic teams and broken records for track and swim teams.
- Print and file all game results.
- Coppy programs for the evening's events.
- Send game reminders to workers, officials, and schools the week before events.
- Check grades each mid-term and nine weeks for each student participating in athletics.
- Type list and make coaches aware of who is ineligible for that period.
- Check, enter, and file all sports physicals; and record them on Final Forms.
- Double check that each athlete is signed up for Final Forms and all forms are signed before they can participate in athletics.
- Keep up-to-date rosters for each team.
- Maintain EventLink and send out official invitations for events that are missing officials.
- Schedule workers for home athletic events in EventLink.
- At the end of each season, type participation certificates for each athlete that completed the season.
- Keep track of who is eligible for letters and pins from season to season and year to year.
- Work with the coaches to get all uniforms and paperwork turned in correctly.
- General Duties:
- Answer phone.
- Answer questions concerning games, practices, walking track information, pool information, etc.
- Schedule pool parties and get lifeguards.
- Each pay period, get pool time cards and give to Mrs. McLeod for her signature.
- Schedule pool supervisors and lifeguards to work for lap swims and open swims each month.
- Create, copy and mail monthly pool calendars.
- Make sure there are plenty of copies of all forms needed for any event.
