About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team remotely across the United States (excluding certain states/districts). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in JavaScript development and possess a strong background in building and maintaining high-impact applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting applications primarily utilizing React 18, TypeScript, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of Department of Veterans Affairs solutions, ensuring they are reliable, efficient, and aligned with federal standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including testers, DevOps engineers, and project managers, to deliver seamless software solutions that meet client needs. Monitoring system health and implementing CI/CD pipelines will be integral parts of your responsibilities, ensuring continuous improvement and deployment efficiency. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of JavaScript development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript and above-average proficiency in TypeScript
• Strong experience with React 18 framework
• Experience with GitHub for source control management
• Familiarity with Prometheus for system monitoring and logging
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Harness, Nexus, SonarQube, and HashiCorp Vault
• Knowledge of containerization, including Docker images and Kubernetes
