About the role
This is a Hybrid role (3 days in office / 2 days remote).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain web-based applications and programs for our online brokerage services.
- Maintain large-multi-tiered web applications to support our customer registration and account management systems.
- The design, development, support of Oracle database schemas, PL/SQL packages, scheduled batch processing, Java applications and servers.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in computer science or related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in web application development
- Knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, Object-Oriented Programming and Java
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
- Experience designing single page applications using frameworks like Angular and/or Vue.js
- Proficiency with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and component-based architecture
- Experience using Bitbucket and Gerrit for source control, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews within a collaborative team environment
- Hands-on experience with Gradle as a build automation tool, including dependency management, multi-project builds, and custom build scripting
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code and other agentic coding tools, to accelerate development workflows and improve code quality
- Exposure to UNIX/Linux
