GlobalLogic estimates the starting base salary for this role in Deerfield, IL to be between $120,000 to $130,000 and reflects base salary only. The amount offered may be higher or lower based on candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Technical and Product Managers to define and plan projects and activities
• Develop and implement an architecture strategy
• Facilitate team collaboration towards software engineering best practices and solutions that meet customer needs
• Ensure high quality code is produced and maintained through code review and frequent defect prevention activity
• Work closely in small teams to create well-integrated products in short design cycles with good documentation and reusable artifacts
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Design Principles
• Very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA, and Hibernate
• Very strong in Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices
• Working experience on RDBMS/MySQL databases
• Proficient in documenting processes and code using standard tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.
• Proficient with Azure services
• Basic understanding of Caching (Redis) and Search/Index Platform (Elastic Search)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience
• Tech Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Azure
