Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer for a 6-month engagement in Waukesha, WI. The ideal candidate has 6-8 years of experience and will contribute to developing robust microservices-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement multithreading solutions for concurrent processing
• Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and other testing frameworks
• Design and implement messaging patterns for inter-service communication
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Java
• Strong experience with Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience developing Microservices
• Experience with JUnit testing and unit testing frameworks
• Strong understanding of Multithreading
• Experience with Messaging Patterns

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Basic knowledge of Shell scripting and Linux
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases or other database technologies
• Experience with Helm
