Java React Developer

About the Role

As a Technology Consultant 2 within the Infosys Digital Experience (DX) unit, you will contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided. You will facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with App development using Spring Boot, Java 8, API, Microservices, Vertx, Oracle / SQL DB, Core Java dealing with Concurrency

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in Design and architecture review
• Experience in software development life cycle with good experience in Agile Development Model
• Deep knowledge of Web development practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Hands on Experience in Spring Boot, Java 8, Microservices, ReactJs, REST API's, Core Java dealing with Concurrency, SQL DB, Vertx, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• Knowledge in Design Patterns
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Ensuring a clear dependency chain, regarding the app logic as well as the file system
• Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules
• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills
• Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

Pay

Estimated annual compensation range for candidates in Jersey City, NJ: $82,419 to $126,600
