Java Quality Engineer
About the role
Are you passionate about software quality, automation, and modern engineering practices? Join our growing Quality Engineering team and help build high quality, scalable enterprise applications using the latest automation frameworks and cloud technologies. This position is located on-site in Dallas, TX; Merrimack, NH; or Jersey City, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test strategies for enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web services and APIs.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate distributed applications across multiple layers of the technology stack.
- Build automation solutions using Java, Spring Boot, RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG.
- Validate application data using Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2 with advanced SQL and PL/SQL.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and SonarQube.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering or Test Automation
- Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with Playwright, RestAssured, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG
- Strong SQL and database validation experience (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2)
- Experience testing distributed or microservices-based applications
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, SonarQube, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
- Agile/Scrum experience using Jira
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Preferred skills include JavaScript or TypeScript experience, performance or security testing experience, and experience with cloud native and containerized applications.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,200.00 - $153,300.00.
