Responsibilities

• Design and build software systems with well-defined interfaces
• Communicate with the tech lead to thoroughly understand the technology
• Perform unit and system testing
• Work in an agile environment
• Demonstrate high-level coding skills to handle complex scenarios
• Design for scale in cloud environments
• Collaborate with client's technology and business staff daily
• Code, test, debug, implement, and document complex global applications

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Micro services architecture and Java design patterns
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Eureka, Spring Cloud Gateway, and Spring Security
• Deep understanding of RESTful web services and Advanced JavaScript architecture
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and OpenShift
• Experience with web servers (Nginx) and application servers (Tomcat)
• Understanding of TLS, SSL certs, and distributed systems architecture
• Familiarity with Unix, Linux, Windows, and databases (Postgres, Oracle, SQL)
• Experience with High-Availability, Redundancy, Clustering, Disaster Recovery, and Load Balancing
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Mongo) and hardware platforms/networking
• Proficiency in CI/CD, Test Driven Development (TDD), and memory management
• Understanding of multi-thread vs single thread, basic algorithms, and optimization approaches

Pay

Salary Range: $100,000 to $135,000 per year
