Java & GCP Engineer

About the role

As a developer, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of your software from inception to production, working on a mixture of green- and brown-field projects, learning from, and contributing to your peer group. You will apply your experience and earned acumen to guide the shape of our platform and help mentor and guide the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with Python, Scala, Node.js, Golang, JavaScript, C++, or C#
• Familiarity with AI models and experience using AI tools such as Copilot and Codex
• Experience writing Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
• Database experience: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Postgres
• Search & log tools: Solr, Fruendt, Prometheus
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes, GKE, Docker
• CI/CD: Jenkins, SonarQube
• Cloud services: Big Query, DataPro, Dataflow, Cloud SQL, Cloud Composer, AWS EMR
• Version control & collaboration: Git, Gitflow, Jira, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Trello
• Agile/Scrum methodology

Skills

• Frameworks: Quarkus, Ktor
• NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Couchbase
• Applied statistics: distributions, statistical testing, regression analysis

Pay

Base salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 per annum.
