Java Fullstack Engineer with Azure

Full stack development

You will work with a high performing team to consult and develop solutions for a major client. You will support and interact with the client daily with a focus across the organization. You will have the opportunity to show/grow with technology in a customer facing role.

Required Qualifications

• At least 6+ years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer with experience in Azure, designing, developing, deploying, and supporting computing applications in a large scale, midrange, and distributed environment.
• Expertise in API Standards, Microservices Architecture.
• Expertise in development of RESTful APIs and SOAP services using message formats such as JSON or XML.
• Expertise in integration technologies such as Spring Boot, Camel and Fuse.
• Expertise in JVM based languages such as Java and Java 8.
• Expertise in functional programming and reactive framework.
• Build and deploy cloud native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop event driven architectures using Azure messaging services.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Expertise in git flow model and working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment strategies.
• Expertise in in containerization technologies such as Docker, container orchestration engines such as OpenShift.
• Experience in application patterns such as Circuit breakers, Throttling, Rate limiting and Service Discovery.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter/NeoLoad and application tuning.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required

• Familiarity with Agile development methodology and concepts.
• Ability to perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments.
• Health Care / Health Services business area subject matter expertise preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
