Location: Holmdel, NJ (onsite) – 1-year contract
Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs with versioning and security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, SSL/TLS).
- Build and maintain microservices-based distributed systems using Java 8/11/17 (Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, Streams).
- Develop full-stack applications with Spring Boot & Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security) and React JS / React UI.
- Work with relational databases (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA).
- Implement integration and API testing using Postman or SOAP UI.
- Apply caching technologies (Redis, EhCache, Hazelcast) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Maven, Gradle).
- Containerize applications using Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes and deploy on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, EKS).
- Monitor and log applications using Splunk or AppDynamics.
- Lead technical teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Explore and integrate Generative AI initiatives.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience with Java 8/11/17 (Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, Streams).
- 8–12 years of experience with Spring Boot & Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security).
- 6–8 years of experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- 6–8 years of experience developing and versioning REST APIs.
- 2 years of experience with API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, SSL/TLS).
- 3 years of experience with React JS / React UI (mandatory for one position).
- 5–7 years of experience with relational databases (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA).
- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE development and architecture.
- Hands-on experience developing applications using Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Integration testing and API testing (Postman, SOAP UI).
- Caching technologies (Redis, EhCache, Hazelcast).
- CI/CD and DevOps (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Maven, Gradle).
- Containerization and platform engineering (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
