About the role

The Senior Technical Lead in Java/J2EE, REST, and Spring Boot will lead and architect technical solutions using Java/J2EE technologies, RESTful APIs, and the Spring Boot framework to meet business requirements. This role involves providing technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring high-quality code delivery, and optimizing system performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the technical architecture design and development of Java/J2EE applications, RESTful APIs, and Spring Boot projects.
• Provide technical expertise in Java/J2EE, RESTful services, and Spring Boot to meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain system stability.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java/J2EE, REST, and Spring Boot.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE development and architecture.
• Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience in developing applications using the Spring Boot framework.
• Proficient in database technologies like SQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a technical team.

• Microservices Architecture & Distributed Systems: 6-8 years
• REST API Development & API Versioning: 6-8 years
• API Security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, SSL/TLS): 2 years
• React JS / React UI: 3 years (mandatory for one position)
• Database (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Hibernate, JPA): 5-7 years
• Integration Testing & API Testing (Postman, SOAP UI): Good to have
• Caching Technologies (Redis, EhCache, Hazelcast): Good to have
• CI/CD & DevOps (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Maven, Gradle): Good to have
• Containerization & Platform Engineering (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes): Good to have
