Job Description
The position involves managing Java/Java EE application development and providing expertise throughout the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and feature priorities throughout the development life cycle.
- Determine design methodologies and tool sets, completing programming using various languages and software products.
- Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.
- Design and conduct tests to ensure application quality and performance.
- Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
- Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of cloud and event-driven architecture, microservices, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) architectural style.
- Proficiency with AWS, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
- Experience in the Spring Framework.
- Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
- Experience creating microservices.
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and Kafka.
- Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift (Red Hat).
Technical Skills
