Position: Java Backend Developer • Experience: 12-15 years • Location: New York, NY (2-3 days onsite) • Duration: 12+ months
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Strong expertise in Core Java programming and backend development.
- Solid experience with algorithms and data structures, ensuring optimized and efficient solutions.
- Proficiency in developing high-performance, scalable backend systems.
- Hands-on experience in multithreading, JVM internals, and memory management.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, work independently, and mentor junior developers.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on designing efficient and scalable systems.
