Java/AWS Full Stack Developer

Fidelity Brokerage Technology is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design and develop innovative technology for financial advisors and their clients using the latest technology stack in a collaborative and engaging environment.

About the Role

You will play a leading role in the agile development of web applications used by thousands of Registered Investment Advisors and Correspondents. These applications deliver comprehensive brokerage solutions, including account management, trading, money movement, compliance, market research, portfolio management, and margin lending. The development teams are highly collaborative, encouraging creativity, innovation, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full stack enterprise web and middle-tier applications using Angular and core Java with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Lead and guide fellow engineers, fostering a collaborative and motivating environment.
• Develop REST APIs via gateways.
• Build and deploy applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS for cloud deployment and application management.
• Implement unit testing and test automation strategies.
• Use source control and pull requests for collaborative development in tools like GitHub.

Requirements

• Advanced full stack software development experience.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
• Expertise in AWS, Terraform, Java Spring Boot, Kafka, SNS, SQS, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Cucumber/Jest automation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
