Java Architect

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Java Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java-based application development, microservices architecture, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will possess excellent coding skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies while driving high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Able to learn new technologies quickly, self-driven, and proactive
• 6 to 10 years of hands-on and strong Java coding experience
• Experience with databases, SQL, Vertx, Kafka, REST API, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
• Experience implementing CI/CD with tools like Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins
• Experience building applications using Spring and Spring Boot
• Experience with Java multi-threading and concurrency

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on Java development (latest Java versions) with extensive coding experience using modern Java features (Java 11/17/21)
• Write clean, optimized, and maintainable code
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and coding skills
• Deep understanding of Core Java concepts (Collections, Multithreading, JVM, Memory Management, Concurrency, Streams, etc.)
• Explain design decisions, design patterns, and architectural choices with real-world examples
• Design scalable, high-performance enterprise applications
• Demonstrated ownership of designing and delivering complex enterprise applications
• Significant hands-on contribution throughout your career, not just team management
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering best practices
• Leverage AI tools for developer productivity

Pay

Base salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 per annum
