LanguageLine Solutions is hiring interpreters to work remotely from their homes. The company offers a variety of services across different industries, including healthcare, 911, first responders, education, government agencies, and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Handle interpreting sessions promptly and professionally
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to established protocols
• Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation and enunciation
• Maintain a professional demeanor throughout interpreting sessions
• Stay calm during interpreting sessions, especially in emergency situations
• Adhere to client instructions and follow protocol to meet expectations
• Understand and adapt to various industries' terminology and procedures
• Show cultural sensitivity and work in a diverse environment
• Be prepared to handle emotionally charged and stressful calls

Qualifications

• Fluency in Jarai and English
• Cultural competency and ability to handle regional and accent differences
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
• Ability to remain detached and neutral during sensitive conversations
• Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
• Able to adapt to LLS technology enhancements
• At least 18 years old
• Licensed to work in the United States
• Ability to read and write in the requested languages (highly preferred)

Pay

The pay rate is $0.75 - $0.90 per minute.
