Japanese bilingual Internal Audit Specialist

POSITION TITLE Japanese Bilingual Internal Audit Specialist Responsibilities Perform assigned internal control testing in accordance with established testing plans, instructions, and requirements Communicate with relevant departments to obtain documentation and information required for testing activities Support coordination with teams responsible for IT control testing Assist in coordinating with external firms performing internal control testing, including tracking schedules and deliverables, and escalate delays or issues to senior team members Support senior team members in internal control testing activities and related engagements Develop an understanding of management objectives related to testing activities Respond to routine inquiries and escalate complex matters as appropriate Prepare status updates and requests for input as directed Assist in communications with external auditors and relevant departments Gather and prepare information requested by external auditors Escalate audit-related issues to senior team members to support timely completion of audit procedures Required Qualifications 1 to 4 years of experience in internal control testing, internal audit, or external audit Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders and external auditors Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines Experience in internal audit or external audit, including internal control over financial reporting testing Preferred Qualifications Ability to perform internal control testing with professional skepticism Proactive attitude and willingness to learn US CPA certification or successful completion of the CPA examination Japanese language skill LOCATION New York, NY
