Janitorial Supervisor

About the role

CW is seeking a skilled and dependable Custodial Supervisor to support daily custodial operations, uphold high standards of cleanliness, and perform hands-on cleaning duties while providing guidance and training to custodial staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train custodial staff in the performance of daily cleaning tasks, ensuring work is completed in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Perform routine custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and other cleaning functions as required.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, identify deficiencies, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies, materials, and equipment; notify the Custodial Project Manager of replenishment needs.
• Ensure proper use, care, and storage of custodial equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Respond to urgent cleaning needs, spills, and safety hazards in a timely and professional manner.
• Cook with building management, maintenance personnel, and other departments to address facility-related issues and support operational needs.
• Aid the Custodial Project Manager in implementing cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and quality-control measures.
• Promote and maintain a positive, respectful, and productive work environment that supports teamwork and high performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, institutional, or industrial setting.
• Experience providing day-to-day guidance, training, or direction to custodial staff in an operational setting.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe chemical handling practices.
• Strong understanding of various cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Must have a valid driver's license. Valid RealID.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.
