Janitorial Staff

About the role

CAO Group, located in West Jordan, Utah, is a leading tech innovator and manufacturer in medical, dental, lighting, forensic and veterinary fields. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Janitorial Staff to join our team and ensure the operational integrity and pristine appearance of our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and Sanitize: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal in offices, lobbies, hallways, and breakrooms.
• Restroom Maintenance: Thoroughly clean and sanitize all restroom facilities, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels).
• Surface Cleaning: Dust, wipe down, and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, and glass partitions.
• Supply Management: Monitor and replenish janitorial supplies; report low inventory to Facility Manager.
• Light Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing filters in the roof top HVAC unit, light bulbs or reporting any major repair needs to the Facility Manager immediately.
• Regular Facility Maintenance: Perform regular facility maintenance and liaison with outsider contractors for key facility equipment.
• Safety & Security: Ensure all doors and windows are secured at the end of the shift; adhere to all safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals safely and appropriately.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Janitor, Custodian, or in a similar role is a plus.
• Ability to handle basic maintenance tools and cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
