Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned shift or site
- Interview, hire, and train janitorial staff
- Oversee the daily workflow and schedule assignments of cleaners
- Take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to staff and visitors
- Conduct regular walk-throughs and cleaning inspections
- Fill in when needed and perform other related duties
- Maintain effective lines of communication with the client and facility personnel
- Ensure that the client's needs and requirements as related to the security contract are being satisfied
- Demonstrate and promote company culture, values and management philosophy
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience in the janitorial field
- Experience managing janitorial operations
- Proven experience motivating and training staff
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines; self-directed
- Strong service/quality mindset
- Proven computer skills
