Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee an assigned site with 3 shifts
• Interview, hire, and train janitorial staff
• Oversee the daily workflow and schedule assignments of janitorial staff
• Take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors
• Conduct regular walk-throughs and cleaning inspections
• Fill in when needed and perform other related duties
• Maintain effective lines of communication with the client and facility personnel to ensure their needs and requirements are satisfied
• Demonstrate and promote company culture, values and management philosophy

Requirements

• Must have cleaning or housekeeping experience
• Janitorial management experience
• Excellent communication
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing supervision background
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
