JANITORIAL SHIFT LEAD (FULL TIME)

Schedule: Full time; open availability is preferred; days and hours may vary.

ESFM is the corporate Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division of Compass Group USA and a Keystone member of the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). As a Janitorial Shift Lead, you will perform administrative tasks, train team members, and oversee overall training activities for custodial associates. You will act as a resource for others due to your knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and heavy commercial cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance, and company policies.
• Provide one-on-one training as needed.
• Update and train on the use of janitorial equipment, PPE, and chemical usage/safety.
• Copy and revise training materials; perform administrative tasks as requested.
• Provide feedback on new associates during the orientation period; review trainee records to ensure compliance.
• Recommend disciplinary action to the training coordinator as appropriate.
• Perform reviews (e.g., monthly safety performance review) to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management, and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct walk-through building inspections as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior janitorial and lead experience is preferred.

Pay

$18.51 per hour to $23.13 per hour
