Janitorial - Post Event Manager

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is looking for an experienced Post Event Manager for our Sports and Entertainment venue, State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. This role reports to the Site Manager and oversees cleaning/janitorial duties and staff.

About the role

The Post Event Manager handles all administrative responsibilities for the Event Shift, ensuring the arena is cleaned after each event and maximum service and quality standards are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, schedule, and execute cleaning operations for the Post Event Shift.
• Decide how staff should be deployed and ensure all equipment is set up prior to staff report time.
• Ensure all supplies, equipment, and labor are available to complete assigned tasks.
• Check-in staff, complete deployment sheets, and assign staff to assure proper coverage of the facility.
• Assign radios, keys, and equipment, and complete sign-in/out sheets.
• Provide employee training and communicate company/client policies and procedures.
• Conduct walk-thru inspections of the facility throughout the shift to ensure work is completed properly and within budgeted hours.
• Assist with completion of work assignments as needed.
• Make decisions as to when to release staff when work is completed.
• Inspect the entire facility and complete a post-event checklist to ensure all areas are properly cleaned.
• Respond to the service requests of the client.
• Complete labor reports from sign-in to hours pulled.
• Complete post-event tracking form to ensure budget compliance.
• Ensure that supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Report all accidents, injuries, incidents, safety, and maintenance concerns immediately.
• Stay on site until relieved by Daycore Manager or Site Manager as necessary.
• Assist Managers with daytime or project operations on non-event days.
• Complete all other duties and service requests assigned by the Site Manager.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.
• Reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Management or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Janitorial/cleaning experience (a plus).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (a plus).
