Janitorial Night Manager

About the Role

The Night Manager is responsible for all maintenance tasks within an account, overseeing operations onsite, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role may involve managing one large account or a geographically dispersed unit, including hiring, training, and supervising staff. The Night Manager acts as a key resource for both the customer and the company, prioritizing customer needs in scheduling decisions and striving to meet or exceed expectations while achieving quality and profit objectives.

Responsibilities

• Ensures work is performed properly, on time, safely, and within budget.
• Schedules and coordinates custodial duties with the Account Manager.
• Prepares and supervises work assignments for all personnel.
• Inspects work of subordinates.
• Tracks work using computer products.
• Conducts employee training.
• Orders cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintains security of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Administers the Safety Program and personnel policies.
• Prepares required reports.
• Enforces the account dress code.
• Responds daily to requests from the Account Manager.
• Completes all work professionally and in accordance with industry and safety standards.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 to 5+ years of experience managing janitorial employees.
• Ability to pass a State and Federal Government background check.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for transportation.
• Experience in an entrepreneurial and rapidly growing environment.
