Janitorial Field Lead-College Station

About the role

Rising Star Resource Development Corporation is seeking an experienced and hard-working individual to join our team of professionals. The Field Lead will supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial and industrial buildings, such as manufacturing facilities and warehouses, while adhering to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. This position is performed at a federal facility requiring a background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and enforce job site safety and OSHA compliance regulations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure supplies are on hand for assigned work.
• Monitor employee timekeeping via Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Lead cleaning crew, including team building, training, counseling, and coaching.
• Arrange work schedules for assigned rotation staff members.
• Resolve problems and discrepancies on jobs and/or interact with clients to amend issues.
• Conduct quality control checks and provide operational support to Leads/Team when necessary.
• Conduct performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees via Coach and Counsel statements.
• Perform telephone marketing to customers and local area businesses, including unsolicited quotations for services.
• Grow the business line and perform other team growth duties as assigned, working closely with key organization leadership.
• Schedule semi-annual floor care with customers, including experience using a buffer.
• Lead 1 to 2 employees per day and operate a golf cart.

Requirements

• Energetic, motivated, and seasoned facilities maintenance background, including use of chemicals and biohazard spillage.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in a professional manner.
