Janitorial - Day Porter - #61061

Location: Hialeah

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures.
• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols.
• Dust, mop, and sweep break areas, elevators, gyms, restrooms, common areas, and other rooms.
• Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager if any supplies are needed.
• Report any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement.
• Report any building hazards.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage closet as needed.
• Secure all interior offices if applicable; shut off lights if required.
• Set alarm if applicable and secure main entry door.
• Perform other duties as needed based on scope of work.

Requirements

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Able to perform tasks that involve light lifting, bending, and stooping.
• Must always maintain a strong awareness of safety.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
