Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks according to standard procedures and the building’s operating schedule.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairwells and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills and mop floors throughout sales floors and seating areas.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless-steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves and products as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer and team-member restrooms (includes cleaning and monitoring as required).
• Complete sweep logs as instructed.
• Operate and disinfect all equipment safely and properly.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health, sanitation and safe-work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 lbs.
• Frequent walking inside and around facilities throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 10–12 hours per shift.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and chemical safety data sheets (generally in English; may be in Spanish where state law requires).
• Background check and drug test required.

KBS uses the mobile timekeeping software KBSPresence to accurately record work hours, manage attendance, complete required training and distribute important job information. All non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out of shifts and breaks. Reimbursement for personal cell-phone use may be provided in accordance with applicable local law to support the use of personal devices for work tasks.
