Position Summary

The Crew Leader performs team tasks on site and ensures team tasks are fully executed. Interacts with the client to provide professional and timely customer service as needed. Provides direction and task coordination for the assigned crew. Ensures crew members understand and know their responsibilities per each policy. Collaborates with the crew to ensure coordination and successful execution of daily operations and resolves deficiencies promptly. Assists the supervisor or area manager with new hires and training. Ensures team members have the information and tools to do their jobs effectively; provides clarity and supports team members' success. May assist supervisor or area manager with interviews and training. Motivates the crew; interacts regularly with crew members to provide support and clarity and leads by example.

Requirements

• Cleaning operations and distribution center environment experience preferred
• 1–3 years in a leadership/supervisory role
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safe handling sheets/documents (generally in English; may have them in Spanish when state-required)
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions
• Customer service-oriented, friendly and positive attitude with the ability to motivate team members and support client requests in an orderly and timely manner

Technology Requirements

KBS uses the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software to accurately record employee work hours, manage attendance, complete required training, and distribute important job information. All non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for shifts and breaks. Reimbursement for cell phone usage is offered in accordance with applicable local legislation.

Starting salary: $14.00 per hour
