Responsibilities

• Perform on-site team tasks and ensure the assigned crew completes all duties on site.
• Interact with the client to deliver professional and responsive customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for the assigned crew.
• Ensure crew members understand and are aware of their responsibilities per each policy.
• Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth daily operations, coordinate execution, and resolve deficiencies promptly.
• Assist the supervisor or zone manager with new hires and training.
• Ensure team members have the information and tools to perform effectively; provide clarity and support team success.
• Motivate the crew; engage regularly with members to offer support, clarity, and lead by example.

Requirements

• Preferred experience in cleaning operations and distribution center environments.
• 1–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety data sheets (often in English; Spanish versions may be provided where state law requires).
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
• Customer-service oriented with a friendly, positive attitude and the ability to motivate team members and support client requests in an orderly and timely manner.

Technology & Tools

KBS uses the mobile timekeeping software KBSPresence to track employee hours, manage attendance, complete required training, and distribute important job information. Non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on personal mobile devices to clock in/out of shifts and breaks. Reimbursement for personal cell phone use may be available in accordance with applicable local law to support work-related device usage.
