Janitorial Cleaner - 38944

About the role

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for basic cleaning tasks across various facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. We offer multiple shifts as well as full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Perform additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns
• Clean common areas, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, and drinking fountains
• Dust, polish, and maintain assigned items and areas

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites
• Willingness to work assigned hours
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods
