Janitor - Sarita, TX

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, offices, hallways, locker rooms, break rooms, shower rooms, holding cells, surfaces and other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing.
• Empty and decontaminate trash containers.
• Mix or blend routine cleaning solutions to proper concentrations for various tasks.
• Wash blinds, windows, screens, sills and walls with prescribed solutions.
• Sweep sidewalks, porches and tiled surfaces.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Replace light bulbs, pick up trash and paper around buildings.
• Climb a step ladder, use a floor burnisher, and communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Custodial experience with knowledge of floor care, cleaning chemicals, and materials.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to climb a step ladder and operate a floor burnisher.
• Effective communication skills.
