Description Broad Description of Duties: Under the direction of the theatre management team, the Janitor is responsible for the cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of the theatre and building surroundings. This position reports to a member of the theatre management team or General Manager. Essential Functions/Job Duties Clean the facility during non-operating hours to prepare for the day Sweep, mop, or vacuum building floorsCollect and take out garbage from buildingClean restrooms and stock them with suppliesClean spills and other hazards with appropriate equipmentWash windows, walls, and glassMake minor building repairsNotify managers when a building needs major repairsAll other light maintenance duties, as needed and assigned by the theatre management team or General Manager.The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.
