JANITOR (PART TIME)

About the role

SSC is hiring part-time JANITOR positions immediately. Locations include Union Grove MS - 210 East Lake Road, McDonough, GA 30252, with openings at other locations within the school district. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is part-time, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours available.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
• Sanitizes all surfaces.
• Fulfills the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and completes the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Prior janitorial experience is preferred, but not required. Fixed Pay Rate: $12.02 per hour. Perks include training and growth opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package, and same-day pay!
